JUNGLE DAVE IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM!
Well, I have landed here in the Emergency Room at Hilo Medical Center on the advice of my state disability doc, who did a brief exam of a lump in my tear duct that seems to be growing rapidly. It hasn’t affected my laser-like (ha!) Super Vision, but it causes the eye to weep pretty non-stop and it crusts up during my sleep and itches. The thing doesn’t hurt but it is definitely bulking up, a hard, round swelling that has grown too quickly for our liking.
I’m posting about it here because my faithful friends always send prayer my way in these instances, and I am requesting exactly that for this issue.
I have no fears at all about whatever it may be, because as I’ve written before, I believe I’m on a ‘mission from God’ as the Blues Brothers might have put it, so it’s God’s problem, not mine! They’re His atoms, not mine now….
Nice to be working for a Creator with unlimited resources and a staff of untold billions, though…
